In light of today's remembrance of Ataturk, I found an old video of an Ataturk speech that is really quite interesting. I don't think it is the greatest for learning Turkish as the sound quality is not the greatest, but it is very interesting to see the man who defines Turkey, speaking on the screen. His voice is nothing like I would have imagined. I am not sure what I imagined it to be, but his charisma and presence are evident and it is not hard to imagine why he commanded the attention of all who listened.
