Handcrafted Audio
Handcrafted audio is written by Turkish language learners (expats like yourself) to be listened to by other Turkish language learners (you and other expats). The rationale is that the writer will be using vocabulary, expressions and structures that other learners are also ready to learn. They will be narrow in scope in regards to both the grammar and the vocabulary used. Handcrafted audio is corrected with a native speaker and then recorded by a native speaker as well. These can come in the form of daily journals, stories, autobiographical or biographical sketches. You can find the HCA Podcast at itunes or at the TLL HCA Podcast Page of Podbean. Each podcast includes a summary of the Turkish in English. This should help boost comprehension and make the "input" more "comprehensible". We think they are a great resource for language acquisition and hope you will find them useful as well. The files on this page are of the Turkish only. Download them for lots of Turkish listening. Also, we would love to have many voices represented here. Think about contributing your own handcrafted audio. Send me an email if you would like to find out how your own handcrafted audio could be a part of the show. Happy Listening!
