The "FONO" Stories

The Fono Stories are a collection of stories taken from a three inch thick, old dusty out of print grammar book I found a few years back.  They are all comic short stories and are presented in a side by side manner in the text book and which I recorded with the voice of the HCA Podcast, Mehmet.
  • The Police and The Thief:  A rookie police officer is up against a sneaky thief and his own gullibility in this humorous story.
  • An Artist: An artist is flattered by a man's desire for a painting in leu of payment for a bill until he finds out the reason why.
  • Good Driver:  An elderly gentleman is surprised by a police officer's poor driving.
  • Quick Thinking:  A con man needs to think quick after telling his story to the wrong person.
  • The Bookseller and the Doctor:  A cheapskate bookseller pays more in trying to pay less.
