Narrow Listening
Narrow listening is when a number of native speakers of the target language (Turks) answer the same "grand tour" question. So for example, four to six native speakers might answer a question about family traditions for Ramazon. You the listener know what to expect and the words and structures that are used often come up again and again as you listen to these four to six speakers answer the same question in their own way. It is a proven language learning tool and a great way to hear Turks talk about their culture.

- Cultural Interviews with Turkish-Speaking Executives is a compilation of brief video clips in which Turkish executives discuss cultural issues that are of interest to North Americans. The objective of the interviews is three-fold: First, provide practical cultural information about business topics. Second, the interviews provide vocabulary in areas within a professional setting.
