Assessment (This program is still being developed and is not ready at this time)

Our testing uses the American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages as its guide, includes native speakers in the process an provides clear feedback so that you can understand how to improve in areas needing improvement and capitalize on the areas you are mastering.

A Listening Library?
A library is a collection of books, a place where anyone can go to get the information and resources they need. A listening library then is much the same - a place where language learners, and in this case, Turkish Language learners, can go to get listening resources. When I moved to Turkey in 2008, there was little I could do to find quality listening material other than dive into the eternal ocean of the "google search." Hours were wasted looking, trying to read the Turkish descriptions of sites and generally searching in vain. Slowly though I began to find the nuggets that were worth keeping. It seemed only natural then to give to others what I so desperately had wished I would find when I came - a one stop shopping center for all your Turkish listening needs. I am still looking and the library is still growing. And you can help by sending in the links to the great listenings sites you have come across. I hope you will be able to find more than a few things to help you become a better Turkish speaker at the Turkish Listening Library.
